Thank for for referring me to IMAutomator, Ana. This tool is so great. This is exactly what I am looking for. OnlyWire is so hard to use and it’s so frustrating. I did not know what to do next when I download it. Do you have the same problem with Onlywire, Ana?

Hi Ana,

Great to share your step by step post strategy, some peoples may charge for that kind of information…
For my part I add some press release too. They can be pick up by Google News and go to the 1st page for 12 to 15 hours… (Good tips here ;) )

Thanks,

Dave B

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the compliment. You are right, this information is not actually free in other sites. Press release is good too.

Have a great day,

Ana

“IM Automator” is kind of low powered to say it gently. It only has some low pr website which are super spammed, but it might have some impact, I am pretty sure it wont hurt.

What are ” Post to Facebook tribes.” never heard if this one before.

I bet this post just help someone get an extra kick in the search engines!

Ana Hoffman trafficgenerationcafe.com November 22, 2010 at 6:56 pm

Hi Alex,

Yes it won’t hurt you at all. IM automator works for me. As with FB tribes, you can search for them right in your FB search engine and post url of your site. It’s so easy.

Ana

Hi Ana,

you are over-delivering again, thank you. It seems that isn’t rocket science. However, how many people will actually do the work that is involved with it ?

It’s like a recipe: Mix ingredient with 1 with ingredient 2, then add ingredient 3 and so forth.

I have very good experiences with Facebook tribes with regard to traffic and I’m part of the Unified Tribe also.

Thank you again.

Take care

Oliver

Hi Oliver,

I know it looks like it involves too much work using this steps but actually it’s not. They are so easy to use so it will not take too long and 1 person can definitely do it in one sitting.

Regards,

Ana

The best backlink blog post I’ve read and whilst I’ve tried using some of the commands successfully I’ve been less sucessful in actually generating the links - but I’ll keep going.

When I worked for agencies we relied heavily on paid links and now I’m working for myself I’ve been trying to pursue a link strategy without buying links - but it seems tougher than I thought it would be - particularly as it seems ‘no follow’ is the standard practice for any decent PR blog.

Any thoughts on the split between ‘free’ links and paid - is there a range which you believe is optimum?

Ana Hoffman trafficgenerationcafe.com November 22, 2010 at 8:27 pm

Hi, Mike:

I think paid links in general are a dangerous game to play. I personally never do it.

You are right: finding great dofollow links is a challenge, but it’s not impossible. I think most of us, linkbuilders have a nice list of high PR dofollow blogs that we’ve accumulated over time. :)

Check out this dofollow tool on my blog: https://trafficgenerationcafe.online/dofollow-blogs-finder-tool/

Hope this helps!

Does pinging your content really bring you more traffic? for some reason I’m thinking no. In directly perhaps over time it can help but I highly doubt the ping itself brings in traffic.

I think the best advice in this articel would be twitter, facebook, blogengage and serpd. These are excellent channels to drive real traffic from real people that bring your blog real comment. The rest is almost hit and miss really and provide little or no consistency. This is why I think I enjoy social networking so much. The end result is always positive.

Sending e-mails a is a great way to generate traffic but I try to avoid this unless I’m throwing a content or something is happening with the website our members should know about.

Sending mass e-mails out of blog engage can bring in 100 to 1500 unique hits every time it’s just awesome!

Overall great articel Anne!

p.s. where is your blog engage button jezz?

Ana Hoffman trafficgenerationcafe.com November 22, 2010 at 7:14 pm

You are right, Brian - pinging itself doesn’t bring direct traffic.

However, it does create almost instant backlinks, as does social bookmarking. Those quick backlinks can definitely help you push your post to the top of search engines - I’ve seen it happen in as little as 2 hours after publishing.

That’s how pinging can equal traffic.

As I mentioned, some of these things are backlinking strategies that are meant to bring long-term traffic.

Ana

PS You are right I need to add a BlogEngage button. :)

Hey Ana this is awesome! You continue to provide kick ass information to us! Here’s what I do: share on twitter, facebook, and a few groups on FB. Use onlywire to bookmark, comment on blogs (specifically those with commentluv), sometimes use ezine but I never have luck with traffic from there, weekly newsletter to subscribers. Been really ramping up the networking via comments and twitter. Hope they make a difference!

Hi Susan,

Good for you. I’m glad you’re doing well with the technique you are using. If you can manage it, you can still add some that I have mentioned here for more traffic.

Carry on,

Ana

Hi Ana,

I stick with most of your blog post marketing methods.

I too ran into a similar situation with Pingoat. Frequent hiccups over there.

Friendfeed is a hidden jewel; I’ve used it for about a month now.

Thanks for sharing and have a powerful day!

Hi Ana,

I do use some of these methods, but a few of them I hadn’t heard of until you mentioned them. Thanks for the information. I will be using thes ideas in the future. Until my blog is highly ranked, I have to rely on manually presenting posts, and the more methods, the better.

Hello Lou,

That’s good. At least you’re already familiar with some of them. It would be easy for you and I know it can surely help you with the ranking.

Hi Ana, thanks for the articles. I was not in clear about these two earlier until I did my own research like you did in your article. After I found out about the trackback (since I got a lot of those and deep down, I know there are spams), nowadays I mostly approved pingback.

I wrote about the difference in one of my blog post but in my local language. Since I found your article, I will link back to your post here for an English version. Thanks a lot.

Wow, this is a goldmine here. How long does it take you to go through and do all of these steps.

I’m definitely going to nail down an efficient procedure to get the word out about posts.

I’m surprised and embarrassed about how many forums/sites to help your traffic that I DIDN’T know about.

Hello John,

Thanks so much for your plan to share this post to others. That would be great. As with the process, at first since you’re not yet used to it, it will take some time but later it will be easier and faster for you. try it for yourself and you’ll see.

Cheers,

Ana
