  Love your rules for social engagement. You reminded me that I still need to dive into serpd more and get a button on my blog. I held off until I finished my updates, but that’s not doing me any good now, is it? LOL I just looked at blokube yesterday as well. Looks interesting.

  I love the facebook shares suggestion you gave. I hadn’t thought of that but it really would be an easy way to increase my shares as well as get more exposure and traffic.

  Wow…great audit with tons of take-aways. I love that there are similarities between all the audits you’ve done. It almost creates a recipe type of scenario where we can all follow it and get better results. I love the “Blog Doctor” analogy! It fits you well!

  Thanks for the extra information! I’ve learned a lot. Checked my blog’s readability score and it seems to be all over the place based on what tool I’m using to check it. Do you have a resource you recommend we follow to determine at what level we’re writing? I know that we should shoot for around a 5th grade level…and I’m scoring anywhere between 4.63 and 8.72 depending on the test I’m using.

  Hi Ana,

  I can not tell you how grateful for you I am. I was so nervous emailing you back in August to see if I could be part of your tribe. I know the rules were strict and I knew I would really be stepping up my game in a big way. And I felt like I was a kindergartner asking to play with the “big kids.”

  Joining the tribe took commitment that I would be pumping out content regularly, and not just any content, it had to be worthy of comments from all of you experienced marketers in the group. I took a leap of faith and it was, by far, one of the best things I could have done for my business.

  Great job! Doesn’t the stretch of faith feel fantastic? I am in the same boat, where there are things I don’t quite yet know, but I’ve really enjoyed having a blog building blueprint to follow after my blog audit and I’m definitely seeing improvement so far. I am not done working through all the changes she suggested for me yet, either, but it’s a journey and it won’t happen overnight.

  I’ve been looking at my blog (especially after the audit Ana did for me) like having a child…we learn as we go.
