Was honored by your mention, Peter. Thanks for coming by!
Thanks for another amazing marketing skinny, Ana!
I’d like to add something about page speed and Google… Just recently I had the interesting client’s case. After a redesign, his website lost around 11 % of organic traffic and got less returning users. One of the major reasons I found was a page speed issue that decreased significantly after a new design implementation. Organic positions were slightly dropped too.
The point is I’m sure we shouldn’t worry about it when we have loading speed in 3-4 seconds or less. In other cases, we should invest and improve loading speed to make site as fast as we can.
I personally leave the page if I’m waiting too long (5-6 or more seconds). I’m sure the most of our organic search visitors do the same.
PS Thanks for including my last roundup!
That’s a very good point, Anna. Decrease your page speed for the sake of your customers/readers, if not for Google specifically.
Thanks for sharing your client’s story; always good to know what works (and doesn’t!) in practice.
And I always truly appreciate your mentions!
Thanks for this awesome roundup Ana!
I will make sure to put these insights into action! 😀
