Keywordluv is fantastic. It allows people to get the backlinks they need to their webpages. It is very rewarding also, as it makes people want to contribute more and everyone wins! I think it is important to moderate all comments for spam! I have seen there is a plugin called the ‘Anti Spambot plugin’ I haven’t used it myself yet though, but it is supposed to stop all them spammy comments! After all we don’t want them ruining it for everyone else!!
Hey Ana
Best way to generate the Keyword luv in website then that keywords luv shown on google search engine. That example is nice but suppose what style of keywords put in your name box then that name show in Google Search Engine. I am waiting your reply.I hope you give some powerful example. After then i boost my keywords luv ranking in different search engines.

This post makes me laugh (out loud literally) because I’m one of those lovely people that had no idea exactly how to utilize Keyword Luv plugin on a comment, though I have added it on my blog. Thank you for clarifying this … whew! I’m very grateful! You’re my superhero in the blogging world - THANK YOU! With kindness, Elena
Indeed leaving comments on dofollow KeywordLuv enabled sites is a very good idea to reach the top pages of Google. This week I have done a study also with how you can reach in top with a article with commentluv. Booth are very powerful ways.
Bit Doze@ SEO Tips´s last blog ..How Do You Find Ideas For New Articles
One thing I like about your comments section is that the keyword links to a new page where that particular comment appears like a post with all the other comments below and I would like to know if this is done using the same KeywordLuv plugin. I see this as beneficial to the blog owner because it means that for every comment, you have an extra page indexed wink* wink*. This is why blogs with this plugin have thousands of indexed pages though they have only a few hundred posts.
I don’t quite agree with the statement: “Reward your commentators by separating their name from their keywords in the link to their website, giving them improved anchor text.” because the stand-alone keyword links to an inner page and from this inner page (explained above), the link to the commenter’s website is in the format name@keyword instead of just the keyword.
I believe that even though this KeywordLuv is touted as beneficial to the commenters, in the end, it is the blog owner that benefits from putting it on their blog.
Wow, Ana! What a picture - I love it!
It really is amazing what KeywordLuv can do!
This is a great way to get your blog or page to rank high in the search engines, driving more traffic to your blog.
Every serious blogger should have these 3 plugins installed: KeywordLuv, ComLuv and DoFollow.
Thanks for sharing this.

Great to know that keywordluv can improve someone’s page ranking and promotes more user interaction. Since all the comment link are dofollow, don’t you think too much outgoing link will affect the page rank ? My page rank is 2 and if I install keywork luv plugin does it going to harm my page rank ?

So KeywordLuv is a great plugin to rank for others people keywords, lol just kidding.
The plugin is indeed great for both the blogger and the commenter.
First like you said, it makes your comments look less spammy by making your commenters attach a name to their keyword, while also helping them with the keyword rich anchor they get.
In your case is a smart choice of 2 plugins

Hello Anna, of course there are many factors that come into play for ranking, and places 3 and 4 may even switch or move around over weeks. But one thing I noticed: Lisa is using the keyword phrase in her title, and you don’t. Since none of you are using it in your URL, I think that is the most decisive factor.

Now I guess that is another lesson for a blogger - create a website with keywords in the name. Only then you’ll be able to rank high on search engines and also make use of a plugin such as KeywordLuv.
The website that I have been using here while contributing my comments is not keyword targeted - it is kind of talking about whatever catches my fancy. Hence the name “Random Raves & Rants of Sanjeev”. Now they are not really keywords that one will search for on the net!
Another thing that I learnt here is using @ between my name and the “keywords”. All my earlier comments carried only my name and not keywords. This time I typed @ and then name of my site to see what happens. So kind of testing. Next time I’ll only use my name without @ because the second half is not really keywords in my case.
But maybe before I cast that resolve in stone, let me just try and see what happens if I search for random raves & rants - wow! my blog is ranked 5th (out of 725000 pages). I tried another thing - I removed the “random” and just searched for “raves & rants” and found that my site is ranked 42nd (out of 3.3 million pages). So a long way to go. But I also found that I am not the only one raving and ranting! There are many others with domains that are a variation of raves and rants!!
So maybe I’ll continue to write my name as Sanjeev Sharma @ Random Raves & Rants of Sanjeev!
I’d also like to tell you that I installed the keywordLuv plugin on my blog as well, after noticing that it is used here. (This is also my way of telling all your readers that they MUST visit my blog and leave a comment there! All comment links there are do follow!! And if not today, tomorrow it will help them a little bit!!)
Sanjeev Sharma@Random Raves & Rants of Sanjeev´s last blog ..Will Guest Control At Parties Reduce Food Shortage
Definitely, sounds like a great blog to visit, Sanjeev, for anyone in the mood for rants.
It’s nice to be ranked for keywords - any keywords, but as you said it yourself, if no one is searching for those keywords, what’s the point?
I would definitely dig into your site a bit deeper and see if you can find some article that people do want to know about, optimize them and see if you can rank them.
Sounds like a fun challenge to me!
Thanks Ana. It would be nice to have you see if there is an article on my blog that people would like to know about, optimize it and see if it can be ranked.
And sure enough it will be one big challenge because I am certain that my blog will score a big ZERO on SEO.
I was first going to send this message as an email and not as a comment here but then decided otherwise because I have a query which may be of use to your readers. The question arose from your reply that mentions about optimizing an article on my blog for ranking. The question is:
I would think that most articles on my blog are indexed by search engines - for good or bad - whatever, based on the keywords and other SEO parameters. Now, is it possible to rewrite and optimize the same article in such a way that after updating, it will get better SEO score on the search engine score cards? So dose it mean that every time a search engines indexes an article, it re-reads the SEO parameters?
I hope I have been to communicate my question properly.

KeywordLuv isn’t as prevalent on pro bloggers’ sites as I would have though they’d be. It’s a little surprising, considering that this group above all is all about improving SEO not only for themselves but for their commentators.
Thanks for simplifying it for us, Ana.
Delena
Delena Silverfox@Natural Parenting Blog´s last blog ..Eleven2 Promotional Code
Many top bloggers chose SEO over their readership, Delena; that’s unfortunate. I try to avoid that by doing things differently on my site.
Yes but your Comments do not link to the chosen URL specified, you have them redirected to a page for the commentator, thus negating the link love.
Surely this is why you ranked when Lisa should have, because the anchor text (ie the optimised keyword) was in fact pointing internally at this site.
I know you explained this to me once, but I am still confused. I mean I look at the hyperlinked text and yes it is the keyword but its not pointing to the site?!?
Am I the only one bothered by this - or who even notices it?
Clarify this for me and the readers please Ana, my brain hurts thinking about it.
I have personally removed Keyword Luv and do follow attributes from my blog because its the best way of weeding out those who haven’t really got anything to say.
(I also lost PR and between you and me, its an experiment in link juice)
Alex Whalley´s last blog ..7 Reasons Why Your Article Titles Suck!
OK, here we go.
You are right, Alex (hear round of applause?
You correctly noticed that in my particular case, KeywordLuv doesn’t do much good. HOWEVER, I still like to use it to “humanify” the comments - I hate seeing keywords instead of real names. This way I still get both.
The plugin I use, SEO Super Comments, does resolve exactly the PR leakage issue you are talking about. It directs all the commentator’s links to a dynamically created page and THEN goes out to their website with their keyword in it.
So instead of each comment leaking authority from my blog, I direct it all to one page and that one page has a dofollow link out.
Does it make sense?
I’ll kill myself if you ask this one more time!

Ana´s last blog ..How To Write Titles With Teeth
Dont kill yourself yet …i’m still waiting to hear how you fixed the indexing issue :p
Though chipping i; the plus side of SSC is that it garners ‘authority’ for all the comments the user makes, thus making their ‘comment page’ a power powerful backlink to them, as their comments interlink making the ‘juice’ flow to their comments. So a more frequent commenter get a better ‘reward’ from their activities.
Plus side for host is that the comments can start to rank and provide extra traffic. Sometimes untargeted yes but the extra backlinks to the ‘mother’ post also help it a bit as well.

I agtee KeyWordLuv is a great plugin - especially when used with CommentLuv but it is not the only reason why TheFriendlyBlogger.com is in position 3. The blog also uses the same term in her blog title and keywords - that helps as well.

I can see the benefits of the KeywordLuv, I already have CommentLuv, why would I need a DoFollow plug-in? (supposedly recommended) I mean, if I am going to “Approve” or “Trash” any comments anyway, doesn’t that automatically give the “Approved Chosen” ones the do-follow status, with the link to their last post?
