Hi Ana,

About the latent semantic indexing, I always wonder how Google can tell my content is unique comparing to others and how they value my contents?

I am sure their PhDs found plenty of ways to figure that one out, Ken. :)

I doubt there are too many people who can claim the “how” when it comes down to Google; we all just make guesses at best.

Welcome to my blog! One suggestion: get yourself an avatar.

Hi Ana,

Thanks for your quick reply. It’s true that we all come down to guess what Google wants. For my sites, I do look into crafting my content and so it appeared to be somewhat unique and useful to my visitor. All I can do maybe just hoping Google can find my content to be unique :)

BTW: I have no idea how to change my avatar :(

My suggestion is to focus on the reader. One way or another, whatever is good for the reader, always turns out to be good for the search engines.

Go to http://en.gravatar.com/ and get yourself a gravatar there - so every time you use your email address for commenting, your profile picture will automatically show up.

Yep, quality and unique content, that's what I go for. Takes a little bit of time to complete, but is usually rewarding!
