Comment posted on DoFollow Express: Is Traffic Generation Cafe Getting Off? by Patricia@lavenderuses

Hi Ana

I tend to do similar to Ileane. As part of the commentluv community I like to support commentluv members. Although I have started visiting and commenting on other sites too now. When I first started blogging, I wanted to interact with a community and found that bloggers with commentluv were very helpful and encouraging of my small niche blog.

I don’t check if blogs are dofollow but when I first started I had friends who would share dofollow blogs for me to visit. Didn’t really understand it all, but loved networking and stayed to comment if I found the post helpful.

  • 10 Rules of Social Engagement That Will Make or Break Your Blog Readership
    Hi Ana

I visit lots of blogs daily and comment, which has resulted in my small niche blog getting known and the traffic and comments I am getting are very encouraging.

An active conversation usually gets going when I publish a post and I believe networking is very important to successfully getting a blog recognised.

I like to only follow people whom I can interact with on Twitter. There are different views on this and I notice there are some people who follow people regardless, just for the numbers. I’m more interested in growing my numbers more naturally than through automated systems.

We all have our own methods and for each of us it’s what works for our situation. Thanks for sharing your experience and what you do wih your blog Ana. Much appreciated.

  • Blog vs Website Faceoff: 8 Simple Reasons for Why Blogs Kick Ass
    Hi Ingrid

Wow, this week has been the week for long posts. People whose blogs I regulary visit such as Rick, Stev,Tristan and now you. What’s great about all the bloggers I’ve named is they weren’t just quantity; but awesome content too. So quality and quantity makes for an excellent read :-)

Also proves the naysayers wrong. That we only want short posts cos most people don’t have the concentration power to cope with long posts! Not me. I’m loving it and so are plenty of other bloggers by the comments you’re getting here.

Good to see you over on Ana’s site and also back on Twitter gal. Go Ingrid.

  • Internet Marketing 101: The Telltale Signs of Profitable Markets
    Hi ana

Before I chose the niche for my blog I did my research. Traffic volume, number of searches and product availablity being some I looked into. Also wanted to see if there were any affiliate products I could add along the way. I believe it is important to do the homework before diving in. Hard enough getting started with all there is to learn without choosing the wrong niche!

  • Blog Audit Friday: Are You Profitable?
    Hi Ana

Not only am I learning heaps about how a blog should look for readers to enjoy and stay; but how to keep Google happy too.

I love how you just don’t tell the blogger what is wrong, but make really constructive suggestions and how to achieve them.

Also introduces us to other bloggers we may not have bumped into in the blogosphere. Thanks Ana.

  • Bloggers: If You’re Not Struggling, You’re Failing
    Hi Tristan

Great to see you here on Ana’s blog. I am very encouraged by your post. Cos I struggle with all the techie stuff which remains a mystery to me. Soon as I am earning a little more with my blog, will be outsourcing all that!

It is a struggle to get round all the blogs each day to comment. But as you rightly point out, that’s how we get to know other bloggers and get our own blog out there. I was blown away yesterday going to several blogs to read them and wow there I was in their posts! If I hadn’t visited I wouldn’t have got so encouraged and some days I need that encouragement when there are struggles with my blog.

So spending time struggling but still persevering and achieving our goals is well worth it. I love your writing style and you always come up with interesting posts. Way to go Tristan.

Hi Ana, I usually comment in some high traffic blogs mainly for my link building campaign. But whenever I find an article which gives more values to the readers I don’t worry about the Nofollow, dofollow thing. I just post a comment to appreciate the author. The later is the reason that I am commenting here.
