I watched the video and the Subscribers magnet seems like a real good product. One of the team leaders for my core product provide a very basic tool similar to this. It doesn’t have all the features that SM has, so I’ll think about making this a part of my blog. Thanks.

Hi Ana,I’m not sure if you’re asking for suggestions in your video, but I think with all the free content on your blog that can actually help people market their site no matter what their niche, you deserve to be little more forward about your products. As you say, you are interested in making money. I know what your affiliates are, but I really have to dig deep to find your connection with yournetbiz.com. As you said, a blog needs a product, and some of your readers might want to use that as a product.
My niche is much different than yours, but I, like everyone need to learn how to generate traffic. You’re number one in your field. I have a core product and some affiliates. But I wouldn’t try to affiliate market in your niche. Mine is in cards and gifts. So my products and affiliates are in cards and gifts.
I hope I haven’t confused you, hope that I contributed to the discussion.

Hi Ana,Glad to hear you’re getting some well deserved rest and recreation. It’s hard to believe that such a small percentage of your readers interact with you. I guess I have the same problem on my blog, even though I am getting more responses. I can remember having a similar problem on the school bus, talking to kids to try to get them to behave, and it was just as if I wasn’t even there. I just kept writing them up, and after a three month period of writing more referrals than for the whole fifteen years I’ve driven a school bus, I finally got their attention. Perhaps the overall audience is kind of a tough neighborhood, and we need to be persistant and direct about drawing out interaction. I hope that makes sense.

I have been thinking about buying Subscribers Magnet, but it’s a bit expensive. And since I am using the disqus comment system, it seems that I can’t use all the features of the product.
I am testing various methods to convert my visitors into subscribers, but so far, the only thing that works (without annoying my visitors too much) are optin forms in both the sidebar and just below the blog posts. I am doing both.

Even if I convert every visitor, I can’t generate revenue without a product. Product creation is my big hangup.

I agree with you that most marketers focus on the problem and that is getting traffic and not on the solution and that is the converting them into subscribers or leads or getting them to buy the products or whatever. And yes subscibers Magnet is a cool tool and I own it and I have yet to install it.

I already have a plugin that is similar to the max magnet. Digi List Builder which I got from a WSO but it is now $97. I do have some other plugins from the Max Blog series and I am happy with them.
So if I did not already have a similar plugin then I would probably go for the Max Magnet.
