Simple, Steve - when my designer was working on my blog design, I had a very narrow time window to get it done.Since I used to do modeling, I just sent my designer a bunch of pictures I had on file and that’s the one he chose.

RSS feed - I am thinking of getting rid of it in my navigation bar altogether. 2 reasons: the first one is too long to explain and it has to do with how many people statistically read RSS feeds; second one has to do with the fact that I am displaying yet another link on every page leaking my PR that I don’t have
.I think I will make a post on RSS feed - it’s quite interesting.

Sounds like you ran a websitegrader on my blog. Am I right? Yes, it does show a problem with canonicalization, but I have no idea what it is - everything seems to be fine, except for about 600 links that need a 301 redirect.
I am getting to it… some day…If you have anything more concrete on that, by the way, let me know - there might be something I am overlooking.

I have been thinking about buying Subscribers Magnet, but it’s a bit expensive. And since I am using the disqus comment system, it seems that I can’t use all the features of the product.
I am testing various methods to convert my visitors into subscribers, but so far, the only thing that works (without annoying my visitors too much) are optin forms in both the sidebar and just below the blog posts. I am doing both.

Even if I convert every visitor, I can’t generate revenue without a product. Product creation is my big hangup.

I watched the video and the Subscribers magnet seems like a real good product. One of the team leaders for my core product provide a very basic tool similar to this. It doesn’t have all the features that SM has, so I’ll think about making this a part of my blog. Thanks.

I agree with you that most marketers focus on the problem and that is getting traffic and not on the solution and that is the converting them into subscribers or leads or getting them to buy the products or whatever. And yes subscibers Magnet is a cool tool and I own it and I have yet to install it.

I already have a plugin that is similar to the max magnet. Digi List Builder which I got from a WSO but it is now $97. I do have some other plugins from the Max Blog series and I am happy with them.
So if I did not already have a similar plugin then I would probably go for the Max Magnet.
