Sticky Profit Builder: Traffic Conversion Plugin to Do More With Traffic You Have

Last Updated on March 21, 2017 26 Comments

traffic conversion plugin Sticky Profit BuilderMore is better.

Most of the times.

Unless you don’t know how to get more.

Or more is actually more work and doing more with less is a better option.

Unless you can do more and more with less at the same time…

Yes, that’s the one: more is better, but doing more with less is even better.

How do you do more (conversions, leads, sales) with less (website traffic)?

Convert your existing website traffic better.

Traffic conversion can be a very complex, but very worth exploring subject. To convert your existing traffic better, you can:

  • set up split tests to see what design tweaks might make a difference to your conversions;
  • check out heat maps of your site to see where your readers are clicking and where they aren’t;
  • use Google InPage analytics;
  • split test your Aweber forms to see which one converts better;
  • hire an agency to do all of the above.

Or you can do what I did - get a good traffic conversion plugin to help you to increase your conversions right now, without the cost of time or money.

Don’t get me wrong: Sticky Profit Builder, the plugin I’ve been testing at Traffic Generation Café to increase my conversions, is not a substitute for an in-depth split testing, tweaking, adjusting, testing, adjusting, testing…

However, since most of us won’t be doing the required adjusting, testing, tweaking any time soon, Sticky Profit Builder just might be what we need.

Traffic Conversion Plugin: Sticky Profit Builder

What is Sticky Profit Builder?

Sticky Profit Builder will make anything in your sidebar sticky - that simple.

Not everyone can afford to hire a web designer to hard code a “sticky” feature like that.

I had that done for Traffic Generation Café and got a lot of questions on how my Aweber form was sticking in the sidebar.

Now you don’t have to take a “sorry, it’s hard coded into my theme” answer; you can have your own sticky widget and then some.

Get your own Sticky Profit Builder.

Why use it?

Most of our sidebars are set up the same way: they are information-heavy at the top, and completely empty as you scroll down.

Unfortunately, not too many readers pay attention to the top of your sidebar - after all, they came to your blog to read a post, not see what eles you’ve got going in your sidebar.

When they finally ARE ready to be prompted to take action (usually towards the end of the post or after comments), there’s too much to catch their eye.

Sticky Profit Builder changes that.

It makes ANY widget or even multiple widgets in your sidebar scroll down with your post, thus filling that empty wasted sidebar space.

How Does It Work?

Install, click, stick - it’s really that simple.

Traffic Conversion Plugin Marketing Takeaway

I love it when things are simple, don’t you?

For me, Sticky Profit Builder has been one of those things.

    Hi Ana, Sticky Profit Builder sounds like a promising plugin…I think most blogs leave the sidebar space under used…This plugin is the apt answer for this problem..Thanks for introducing me to it..Will definitely give it a try.

    there was quite a point in stating that most of the readers come in our site to read something and they have nothing to do with the other things mentioned there, By the end of the article, they loose their interest and this is the reason where we have to work to reduce our bounce rate…
    nicely elaborated, Ana!

    I always feel people should try to give equal attention to the existing traffic while trying out ways to attract new traffic. What happens generally is in the run for new traffic, existing traffic is overlooked. I liked the sticky profit builder plugin, thanks for sharing.

    Great overview and video Ana. I’d be interested in testing this to determine whether a visitor would be more inclined to click on the sticky banner/widget or read a related article. If you tailor a widget at the bottom of the post which prompts a clear CTA e.g. “Did you enjoy this post? Fill in your details to receive more info etc” I can envisage a few success stories.

      The possibilities are endless, Kapil.

      I can also see it used to increase pageviews by displaying sticky related posts.

    Just Because It’s Sticky, it ain’t icky!

    The thing is- sometimes I almost feel like I am being stalked by these sticky plugins, share bars and what have you. But then, I have also found them to be quite useful. And I *do* use a few on my own site(s). Plus, if it works like a call to action at the end of a post or around wasted areas, the overall impact can be positive, right?

    What has been your experience, Ana? When you made your aweber form sticky, did it increase the conversion rates?

      I didn’t have my Aweber form sticky for long enough to get any conclusive results, Reeta. So far I chose to keep the plugin banner there since I just wrote the review on it.

      I’ll switch it back to the optin form in the next couple of days to see what kind of conversion improvement I get.

    Hey Ana,

    Thanks for the demo. Wonder why they didn’t include one on the sales page.

    Interesting idea but I am not sure that I want to install yet another plugin and am not fully convinced that I should.

    By how much did it increase your conversions?

      I’ve been using it for a few days now and mostly for displaying the widget for the plugin itself, Sandy. About half of my sales for the plugin so far came from that sticky sidebar widget, so yes, it’s converting pretty well.

        I meant your optins. ” I’ve been testing at Traffic Generation Café to increase my conversions”

        I thought you may have been testing it for optins for your traffic report.

          I can’t test two sticky widgets at a time, Sandy; so far I’ve only tested the sales conversions for the plugin.

    Hello Ana,

    I bought the Sticky Profit Builder Pro License at around $24. That’s the way the product was presented, it was the highest option, besides the Single and Multi License.

    Then I got an OTO talking about a Pro version. I’m confused, since that’s what I thought I had bought.

    You had commented on May 1st that you would review it. Since you wrote this post, I guess you like it, right? 🙂

      I do like it, Philippe. I think the pro version is where you get the “glowy” effect and some other additional features. The light version does just the sticky effect.

    Okay, I’m giving it a go. I have postskin for the “sticky” optin form but I like the ability to use anything in a widget :). I think combined with sore Thumb you can have some attention getting widgets…
