With the tremendous amount of information we process on a daily basis, it’s no wonder it’s getting more and more difficult to capture and HOLD the attention of our targeted internet marketing prospects and customers.

With so many choices, they also tend to PROCRASTINATE and DELAY taking action. So now just simply provoking a response from out targeted internet marketing audience is a huge struggle.
Our customers and prospects are suffering from information overload:
* Too many emails
* Too many voice mails
* Too many tweets
* Too many instant messages
* Too many RSS feeds to read every day
* Too many gurus
* Too many “pretend” experts
* Too many strategies
* Too many special “today only” opportunities
* Too many newsletters
* Too many seminars
* Too many blogs
* Too many ezines
* Too many TV shows
* Too many options
* Too many choices
As a result, we’ve become busy, cynical, frazzled culture with little time to ourselves and we’re sick of being sold to.
With all that in mind, if you are an internet marketer, what are you to do?
Your prospects built filters in their minds and they decide in split seconds whether they pay attention to you or not.
They completely ignore most marketing messages… and YET, they WANT to buy.
They are DESPERATE to believe you. They NEED for someone to make it simple for them to make a decision. They want certainty and they want to believe your promises.
Let’s say you are looking for someone to paint your house.
What do you do? Most likely, you go to Yellow Pages and flip through dozens of different companies offering house painting services.
Are you going to call all of them? Of course not. Most likely you will call a couple of companies with the most promising ads, compare their prices and hire one of them.
Better yet, you call a friend and ask for recommendation… and instantly hire that company.
So here’s the BIG insight: give your prospects what they really want and they will gladly come back to you again and again.
They don’t have time or desire to do all the research, compare different experts, and do their due diligence to find “THE ONE”.
They want you to be the one.
So, your only focus should become proving to your customers and prospects upfront and without a shadow of the doubt that you are THE ONE they are looking for, you are the #1 choice in your targeted internet marketing niche, you’re credible, and truly have solutions to their problems, they will buy.
You HAVE TO become a better thinker for your internet marketing target market: offer tips and advice that will completely transform and IMPROVE their lives if they use it.
And that does not mean that you can just rehash what you’ve read on somebody else’s blog. Your customers need REAL wisdom and expertise and advice from you; the latest concepts, breakthroughs, and insights that will provoke and WOW them.
Here are some questions that you HAVE TO have an answer to:
1. Who is my target internet marketing audience?
2. What is my target internet marketing audience looking for?
3. Where is my target internet marketing audience looking for their answers?
Become a better thinker and solution provider and your target internet marketing audience will find you.
No, I am not going to leave you hanging here. I hate telling people WHAT TO DO, but not HOW TO DO it.

I also use Market Samurai software quite a bit in my research; if you don’t own it yet, I would hightly recommend you get a FREE test-drive copy – it will save you a lot of time doing market research and give you access to a lot of really powerful keyword research tools.
And here is the best tool of them all: a pen and a piece of paper or a computer and a notepad. Take your time with it. You’ll be surprise how many ideas will come to you if you REALLY give it a try.

I always say that it's better to be overwhelmed than underwhelmed but you are absolutely right….. there is toooooo much information out there. People are losing focus on what they should be doing and that's attracting their target audience. I LOVE how you put it…”they want you to be the one”.
