I originally created this page as a way for you, my new visitors, to introduce yourselves and promote your blogs/websites/businesses.
Since then, this page took the life of its own indeed.
I’ve watched people finding new business partners, learning how to get more traffic, networking, discovering great new sites - and truly turning this page into a tightly-knit community where everybody’s welcome.
I’ve seen many other blogs following the trait and starting their own “Promote Your Blog” pages - a great compliment and affirmation that in the world of all the online noise, we all still need to find a place where we can talk about what’s near and dear and still be heard.
So, feel free to:
Promote Your Blog
- introduce yourself,
- tell us more about what you do,
- what drives you,
- whether you need/offer help with anything
- promote yourself, in other words.
Meeting new people and networking is a huge part of being an online business owner and this is a great place to do just that.
Get More Traffic to Your Site
Remember what brought you to this page?
Yes, my Twitter message I sent after you followed me through one of my Twitter accounts.
Would it surprise you to know that hundreds of people find my blog and this particular page DAILY, with minimum effort on my part?
Probably not, since you saw first-hand how well this works.
So here’s your first traffic generation tip:
Discover how to use Twitter to drive traffic back to your site and then turn that traffic into regular readers and customers.
Here’s the plan:
Step 1. Download TweetAdder
This is what I use to find more targeted markets that might be interested in what I have to offer.
Tweet Adder was the very first traffic generation strategy I put in place when I started Traffic Generation Cafe, and it worked so well that Twitter remains my main referral traffic source to this day.
Side note:
Make sure to get 5-profile license at the very least; otherwise, it’s not worth the trouble.
Step 2. Landing Page
Set up a landing page that works best for YOUR niche - it might be something similar to what I did here or something entirely different.
Use your creativity!
Step 3. Twitter Message
Come up with several Twitter messages to automatically send out to your new Twitter followers.
Use your Tweet Adder for this as well.
Figure out which copy works best, then start using that one for all your accounts.
Step 4. Engage
Remember, we are doing all this to convert casual visitors into a long-term asset.
It’s not about bringing them to your blog to make a quick buck with a few AdSense clicks.
With that in mind, once you bring your new Twitter followers back to your site, engage with them.
Encourage them to read more.
Impress them with your great content.
Respond to their comments.
There’s a reason I have 1,000+ comments on this post.
There’s a reason most people who come here from Twitter stick around… for good.
Step 5. Act
Do you know what the biggest cause of all business failures is?
Failure to act.
At some point you need to stop “learning” and start doing.
I just told you the real scoop behind Traffic Generation Cafe’s rapid growth.
It’s time to put this traffic generation method to good use on your own site, don’t you think?
