Comment posted on DoFollow Express: Is Traffic Generation Cafe Getting Off? by Lou Barba
Hi Ana,
If you thought that spammers were pulling your blog into the Google “sandbox”, you sure would be justified to take measures. You aren’t taking time away from your familoy and fun for nothing. You deserve the rewards for your hard work! I can’t say that I know much of anything about the difference between quality and poor quality links. I know you say that links are the most important factor in your ranking. I just like that little heart that comes on when I make a comment. I’m going to try to put that on my blog, too. I’ll keep reading your blog, and I probably won’t know the difference. Doing what you suggest is putting a spark into my blog. And I am sure you’ve heard that it only takes a spark to get a fire going.

- This Is Not Your Everyday SEO
Hi Lisa,I guess no matter what methods you use to engage others, it’s most important to be yourself and be patient. If other people are half as hesitant as I am to pull out their credit card, they have to know you for a while before there’s a possibility for them to buy from you. I definitely don’t think you have to have a best friend relationship with everyone you sell to, but as bloggers, we don’t enjoy the trust sites like Walmart or Amazon do. If buyers and sellers could remember that both are adults, both have something to offer each other, the business part of the relationship wouldn’t get in the way of the personal part.

- Link Intelligence: What Goldilocks Can Teach You About Linking Out
Hi Ana,I’ve just learned how to make links open in another window, which you pointed out was a way to keep readers on your page. I am learning how to link something in my post to my core product. My content has virtually nothing to do with my product, so I have to be a little bit clever about that. Part of the fun, I guess. I haven’t got any affiliates yet, but when I do, I’ll figure out how to take your suggestion about nofollow for them. I don’t want to be in the Google “sandbox” any longer than I have to be. Thanks for your continuing good information.

- 10 Rules of Social Engagement That Will Make or Break Your Blog Readership
Hi Ana,I actually used to sell insurance door to door, and I think there was no room for that method even back then. There have been and still are so many rip offs tha tpeople need to know you and trust you before they pull out their credit cards. I don’t try to fool people into thinking that I’m not actually selling something. But I try to make a story or an anecdote the main part of my post. I definitely will try to use the methods you outline to draw out comments from people coming to my blog. (Mama mia, you sure keepa me busy).

- Make Money Blogging: a Dollar Saved Is a Dollar Made
Hi Ana,I always thought the secret to success in any business was to buy low and sell high. Oh well, as you say, it’s usually not quite that simple. You definitely have to spend money to make money. One thing I’ve found in ventures in the past is that it’s necessary to keep pretty good track of your income and expenses. Otherwise, you can’t tell if you are making money or losing money. Besides, it makes it easier for you to give Uncle Sam his fair share. Maybe a lot of people don’t want to pay taxes, but as the Lord said, “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s.

Hi Ana, I usually comment in some high traffic blogs mainly for my link building campaign. But whenever I find an article which gives more values to the readers I don’t worry about the Nofollow, dofollow thing. I just post a comment to appreciate the author. The later is the reason that I am commenting here.
